Writing Workshop: Turn Your QI Project Into a Published Manuscript

2022-07-07

  • Have you completed a quality improvement project that’s made a difference in patient care?
  • Would you love to see it published but think you don’t have the time or expertise to write for an academic journal?
  • Attend our free Master Class Writing Workshop and within hours you’ll turn your QI project into a publishable manuscript!

Join Olivia Lounsbury, Quality and Safety Program coordinator at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center; healthcare content experts; and the Patient Safety editorial team for this two-part workshop where you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on how to draft your manuscript, as well as tools and resources to use for future publications.

Dates: Thursday, October 6, 7–9 p.m. EST and Thursday, November 3, 7–9 p.m. (At least one co-author of your project must attend both workshops.)

Seeing your work in print is easier than you might think. Join many others who are proud of their hospital-based quality improvement project and have successfully published it academically!

The Patient Safety Authority is holding its first master class in writing quality improvement studies. This free, online workshop is intended for Pennsylvania healthcare workers who have completed a quality improvement project which made a difference in patient care at their facility or organization—but have not yet written it for publication.
